When clients meet with Steve Chambers for the first time, they understand the meaning of a personalized practice. Steve has had the experience of designing and building his own home. He recognizes that when he is designing for a client, he must appreciate what the client wants - a home created to meet their needs and preferences. He takes his clients dreams and filters them through his design sensibilities, skill and training to create an integrated design. As a result of a detailed interview process, developed over years of working with many clients, creative and livable designs emerge. His signature talent is the ability to generate a variety of creative solutions, which gives the client a number of options.

Mr. Chambers has intentionally kept his Dallas architectural practice small since 1975 so that he can work closely with each client through every phase of the design process. As a registered architect, registered interior designer and a former general contractor he understands how each of these disciplines must come together to achieve a balanced and unified result.

Stephen B. Chambers Architects is interested in Sustainable Design. The architect's responsibility is first to the client, but also mindful of the community and the world as a whole.
